Introduction to Knitting Socks. 3 week course commencing 19th September 9am - 11am

Introduction Knitting Socks is a structured three-week course designed for confident basic knitters. It covers foot measurement, casting on with double-pointed needles, heel turning, toe shaping, and the Kitchener stitch, enabling learners to produce well-fitting, hand-knitted socks with professional finishing.  Includes 1 ball of sock yarn and a set of Double Pointed Needles 

WEEK 1.  How to measure your foot, cast on using double pointed needles, knitting in the round 

WEEK 2.  How to turn a heel 

WEEK 3.  Shape toe and use Kitchener to close toe.  

There will be opportunity to learn how to use magic loop or use a small circular needle throughout the process.
